Leonardo DiCaprio, Los Angeles, 1992

“I was very nearly responsible for Leonardo DiCaprio death. His genius is linked to the depth of the portrayal in the characters he plays. I made the photographs on a rooftop studio of a six story building in Los Angeles. Shortly after he played Arnie in What’s Eating Gilbert Grape still immersed in the character of the film he kept jumping onto the parapets of the building, none of us could stop him.”
